FAQ

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely!

Do you shoot digital or film?

I shoot only in digital, using Canon equipment.

Do you have a back-up camera?

Yes I always have a back-up when shooting weddings.

How much time do you need for photos?

Decor: 20 – 30 minutes (preferably at the start of my shift before I come to you)

Bride getting ready:  1 hour

Ceremony: 30 minutes – 1 hour

Family and Group: 15 – 30 minutes

Couple photos: 1 hour +

Reception: It all depends on the package you have chosen.

How do I make a booking?

Contact me for pricing and availability, select your package, I will then send you a quotation/invoice and my contract to sign. Once that is settled along with the 50% deposit I’ll be your photographer for the day!

How long before my wedding should I make a booking?

This depends on you, but I do suggest to book 6-12 months in advance to avoid disappointment.

Can you also take photos of the groom getting ready?

If the time and locations allow it, yes.

Do you take table shots?

I unfortunately don’t, but I will take photos of each guest enjoying the night and interacting with other guests. If you do want big group shots of your guests, I suggest setting up a photo corner with a nice big couch or some props where I will take a few during the night.

How long do you take to edit the photos before we can get them?

This process can take anywhere between 2 – 6 weeks.

Do you offer coffee table books?

Yes I do! They are professionally laid out and printed on semi-gloss pages, bound with a hard custom-printed cover. Contact me to get a price list.

Do you use lighting equipment?

I love shooting with natural light, but will use flash where it is necessary like at a dimly lit reception area.

Do you work with an assistant?

Yes I do. It would be highly appreciated if you could organise seating for the both of us.

How do the family/group photos work?

Due to time constraints on the day, please ensure that all family members know where to go for the photos. It is best to give the MC a list so that he can announce this at the end of the ceremony. You will also need to write a list with names and relations for me so that I know how to structure these photos.

Do you only do wedding photography?

Although I specialise in wedding photography, I love photographing all people! That means engagement, couple and family type shoots as well. The possibilities are endless!
